Brand, Style and Bloom (“School,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”) values the privacy of individuals who use our website, course materials, and related services (collectively, our “Services”). This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and share information from users of our Services (“Users”), (each, a “Student”) of the School. This Privacy Policy applies to the School and all Courses offered by the School. By enrolling in the School, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and procedures this Privacy Policy describes. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not enroll in the School. Your continued enrollment in the School following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes. Beyond the Privacy Policy, your use of the School is also subject to our Terms of Service.


Your use of our Services are also subject to the Teachable.com privacy policy and terms of use for information pertaining to your myTeachable accounts.


Information We Collect


We may collect a variety of information from and about you or your devices from various sources, as described below.


A. Information You Provide to Us.


Registration and Profile Information. When Students sign up for an account, enroll in the School or a Course within the School, sign up for notifications or updates, or participate in our surveys, we ask you for your full name, email address, and password.


Communications. If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you. For example, if you contact us with course-related questions or for customer support, we may receive your name, email address, the contents of a message or attachments that you may choose to send to us, and other information you choose to provide. If you subscribe to our newsletter, then we will collect certain information from you, such as your email address. When we send you emails, we may track whether you open them to learn how to deliver a better customer experience and improve our Services.


Payment Information. If you make a purchase through our Services, your payment-related information, such as credit card or other financial information, is collected by Teachable and/or other third party payment processors on our behalf.


B. Information We Collect When You Use Our Services.


Location Information. When you use our Services, we may infer your general location information, for example by using your internet protocol (IP) address.


Device Information. We receive information about the device and software you use to access our Services, including IP address, web browser type and operating system version.


Usage Information. To help us understand how you use our Services and to help us improve them, we automatically receive information about your interactions with our Services, like the pages or other content you view, the searches you conduct, purchases you make, your comments, any content you post, and the dates and times of your visits.


Information from Cookies and Similar Technologies. We and third party partners collect information using cookies, pixel tags, or similar technologies. Our third party partners, such as analytics and advertising partners, may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across different services. Information from third party services. Teachable Account Information. When you use a Teachable account to sign up for or to access School content, we receive information about you and your use of your teachable account from Teachable such as your account information, including your name and email address, purchase information, including the amount paid, your address, and billing information, IP address, information about your participation in our courses such as lecture completion status, course progress, quiz results, and certificates, any messages you exchange through Teachable.


How We Use the Information We Collect


We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

We may use your information to provide, maintain, improve, and enhance our Services

●       To respond to comments and questions and otherwise provide customer service

We may use the information you provide to help us respond to your comments and questions and otherwise respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.

●       To personalize user experience

We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Students as a group use the services and resources provided in our School.

●       To communicate with you

We may use Student email addresses to send Users information and updates pertaining to our Services. Student email addresses may also be used to respond to Student inquiries, questions, comments or other requests.

●       To facilitate transactions and payments

We may use the information you provide to facilitate transactions and payments.

●       To promote safety

We may use your information to find and prevent fraud and respond to trust and safety issues that may arise.

●       To enforce legal rights

We may use your information for compliance purposes, including enforcing our Terms of Service or other legal rights, or as may be required by applicable laws and regulations or requested by any judicial process or governmental agency; and

●       With consent

For other purposes for which we provide specific notice at the time the information is collected.


How We Share the Information We Collect


We do not sell, trade, or rent Student personal identification information to others.


Vendors and Service Providers.

We may share any information we receive with vendors and service providers retained in connection with the provision of our Services.


As Required By Law and Similar Disclosures. We may access, preserve, and disclose your information if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to: (a) comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; (b) respond to your requests; or (c) protect your, our, or others’ rights, property, or safety. For the avoidance of doubt, the disclosure of your information may occur if you post any objectionable content on or through the Services.


Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. Your Choices


Marketing Communications. You can unsubscribe from our promotional emails via the link provided in the emails. Even if you opt out of receiving promotional messages from us, you will continue to receive administrative messages from us.

Student may find advertising or other content in our School that link to the websites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these websites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our School. In addition, these websites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These websites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Student, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.


Security

We make reasonable efforts to protect your information by using physical and electronic safeguards designed to improve the security of the information we maintain. However, as no electronic transmission or storage of information can be entirely secure, we can make no guarantees as to the security or privacy of your information.


Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information from children under 13 years of age, and no part of our Services are directed to children. If you learn that a child has provided us with personal information in violation of this Privacy Policy, then you may alert us at [email protected]


International Visitors 

Our Services are hosted in the United States and intended for visitors located within the United States. If you choose to use the Services from the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, then please note that you are transferring your personal information outside of those regions to the United States for storage and processing. Also, we may transfer your data from the U.S. to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating the Services. The School has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage Students to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
